JOB OVERVIEW
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will support internal communication and marketing efforts at our Brownsville facility. The coordinator will lead the development of employee communication tools, recruitment resources, and assist in community marketing campaigns. The coordinator will work closely with other employees within the People Operations Group, Production Management, and other departments. Deliverables for this role will include digital advertisements, social media management, print materials development, and coordination of the purchase of promotional items. The coordinator will collaborate with Senior Marketers to enhance our brand image and ensure consistency in brand messaging.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / SKILLs / Responsibilities
- Develop and distribute internal messaging to support recruitment and employee retention.
- Create and manage content for company-wide updates, newsletters, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to craft messaging that aligns with recruitment and retention strategies.
- Assist in the creation and execution of internal marketing campaigns to promote company culture and engagement.
- Monitor and analyze employee feedback to improve internal communication and messaging.
- Ensure consistent, clear, and effective communication across internal platforms.
- Stay informed on trends in internal communications, recruitment, and employee engagement.
- Support the development and distribution of content for social media and internal platforms to enhance employer branding.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal messaging and make recommendations for improvement.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Work will primarily take place in an office setting within a heavy industrial facility. Regular work within manufacturing operations will also take place.
- Work within the facility may expose employees to harsh weather conditions, dust, chemicals, and loud noises.
- Employees will be required to walk, stand, crouch, climb, and perform other physical tasks.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Marketing, communications, or advertising background.
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with online social media platforms and tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Video and photography experience, including editing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related subject, business, or creative field, and/or significant
- track record of success in a similar position.
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting.
